Introduction
Our Anti-Counterfeiting team executed a significant operation that successfully intercepted unauthorized agrochemical products in a major environmental protection initiative. This strategic intervention uncovered a sophisticated counterfeiting network attempting to distribute globally banned pesticides that had been withdrawn from the market. Working closely with Sumitomo Chemical Company, Ltd & Sumitomo Agro Chemicals Europe, and through effective coordination and reporting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly's office, the high presidential office and Egyptian enforcement authorities, our team prevented the circulation of these hazardous counterfeit agrochemicals intended for importation, exportation, manufacturing, and repackaging.
The operation exemplifies our commitment to protecting both brand integrity and public safety, while supporting national environmental protection efforts. Through precise intelligence gathering and coordinated enforcement actions, this case demonstrates our capability to identify and intercept sophisticated counterfeit operations at critical entry points, safeguarding both corporate interests and public welfare.
