Mr. Abdel Wahab Moustafa / Co-Founder & Managing Partner

As Managing Partner of Maddock & Bright IP Law Office in Egypt and some of the MENA region Countries, Mr. Moustafa ensures the development of Maddock & Bright IP Law Office (MBO), the Management of a team of Patent, Trademark and Design Attorneys and Lawyers, while directly managing files, essentially in strategy of appropriation and valuation, on litigation and associated disputes.

Mr. Moustafa specializes in providing Industrial and Intellectual Property strategic advice to companies to gain competitive advantages worldwide, and leverages MBO's consultants' skills to accompany and support clients in their development strategies. His wide area of knowledge in using different legal tools (decision between administrative or court proceedings, undercover investigations, border seizures, goods seizures, preparing documentation and complaints for customs and Government bodies, Litigation) has built up the credibility and reputation of MBO.

Besides managing the development of MBO (More than 120 IP attorneys, agents and lawyers in MBO offices), he focuses his practice in the field of intellectual property law on behalf of foreign companies and law firms. Mr. Moustafa started his career as a paralegal at Mona Bakir Office from 2000. Then, worked as a Patent and Trademark Attorney, namely Prosecutor and Litigator in all IP Matters at El Derei IP Law Firm. He also worked as the Assistant Chief for Customs and Border Protections.

In 2006, he joined Mona Bakir Office and continued the same practices on a larger scale, working as Senior Patent and Trademark Attorney and Litigator on behalf of foreign rights holders. Owing to his full experience in IP matters and litigation, Mr. Moustafa led Mona Bakir & Son Office into a new partnership resulting in a capital raise under the new name Maddock & Bright IP Law Office. Maddock & Bright IP Law Office combines the existing expertise and clientele of Mona Bakir & Son Office with vigorous management and expansion tactics to provide a wider range of integrated legal solutions and greater regional footprint.

Mr. Moustafa received several awards he has been chosen as Game changer of the Year 2017, one of Top 100 Lawyers for 2018.
